Diane is 63 years old, born and raised in California, and has been living in Norway for the past 30 years. She has a Bachelor of Fine Arts in textiles and two teaching credentials from College of Arts in Oakland, California. Diane has spent most of her career as an art teacher, ages 5 to 16, but has also taught Early Childhood Education to adults. She is a multi dimensional artist, and has concentrated the last 5 years on her tin work.
“I first started working with tin after visiting my best friend some years ago. It captured my imagination in so many ways, including my love of old cans and the joy of using tools. The availability of cans and what I have on hand at the time determine the work.”
